Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

SyncTech Solution Company Limited is committed to providing high-quality products and reliable after-sales service. Products supplied by the company are genuine products sourced from manufacturers, authorized distributors, or officially appointed sales channels. Warranty coverage, duration, and service conditions vary according to the product type, model, manufacturer, distributor, and the terms specified in the quotation, purchase order, tax invoice, warranty certificate, or other relevant sales documents.

1. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins from the purchase date, tax invoice date, delivery date, product registration date, or another date specified by the manufacturer or authorized distributor. Depending on the product, the warranty period may be 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or another period specified in the applicable sales and warranty documentation.

Software licenses, subscriptions, cloud services, annual maintenance services, and service contracts are covered according to the commencement and expiration dates of the applicable license, subscription, or service agreement.

2. Types of Warranty Service

Warranty service may be provided under one or more of the following service models, depending on the manufacturer's or distributor's applicable terms:

  • Manufacturer Warranty
  • Authorized Service Center Warranty
  • Carry-In Warranty
  • Pickup and Return Service
  • On-Site Warranty Service
  • Advance Replacement or Replacement Service

Customers should verify the applicable warranty type before placing an order, as warranty service conditions may differ between products, models, brands, and service packages.

3. Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers defects in materials, manufacturing, or product operation that occur under normal use and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Repair, parts replacement, product replacement, or any other corrective action will be subject to inspection and determination by the manufacturer, authorized distributor, or authorized service center.

The company cannot guarantee that a defective product will be replaced with a new product in every case. The service provider may choose to repair the product, replace defective components, provide a refurbished product, or replace it with a product of equivalent specifications in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty policy.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty may be void or may not apply under the following circumstances:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper operation, failure to follow the user manual, or operation beyond the manufacturer's specified limits.
  • Damage caused by accidents, dropping, impact, crushing, bending, breakage, or improper transportation.
  • Damage caused by water, moisture, dust, chemicals, fire, lightning, electrical surges, short circuits, unstable power, or non-standard electrical systems.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, force majeure events, animals, insects, or other external factors.
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, repair, or replacement of parts by any unauthorized person or service provider.
  • Missing, removed, altered, damaged, or unreadable serial numbers, service tags, product labels, or warranty seals.
  • Damage caused by software, viruses, malware, ransomware, incorrect configuration, firmware changes, or use with incompatible devices.
  • Normal deterioration or wear of consumable components such as batteries, cables, lamps, fans, filters, printheads, or similar components, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
  • Loss, theft, deliberate damage, or damage caused by third parties.
  • Damage resulting from the use of non-standard accessories, adapters, power supplies, cables, components, or software.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

Customers requesting warranty service should contact the company and provide the following information:

  • Quotation, purchase order, tax invoice, or proof of purchase.
  • Product name, model, serial number, or service tag.
  • A detailed description of the fault or issue.
  • Photographs or videos showing the condition and reported issue.
  • Customer contact information and the product's installation or usage location.

The company may request additional information or require the customer to perform preliminary troubleshooting before accepting the product for a warranty claim. This process helps determine whether the issue is related to hardware, software, configuration, network infrastructure, power supply, or the operating environment.

6. Returning Products for Inspection

Customers must obtain confirmation or a service reference number from the company before sending any product for inspection or warranty service. Products should be securely packaged and include any necessary components requested by the service team, such as adapters, power supplies, cables, or relevant accessories.

The company shall not be responsible for additional damage caused by inadequate packaging or transportation arranged independently by the customer.

7. Claim and Transportation Costs

Shipping costs to and from the company, manufacturer, distributor, or service center may be the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated in the applicable product warranty terms, quotation, or service agreement.

If inspection determines that the product is not covered by warranty or that no fault is found, the company, distributor, or service center may charge inspection fees, labor costs, replacement part costs, transportation expenses, travel expenses, or other related service charges. The customer will be informed before any chargeable repair is performed.

8. Service Turnaround Time

The time required for inspection, repair, parts replacement, or product replacement depends on the product type, nature of the fault, availability of replacement parts, manufacturer procedures, service center workload, distributor processing, and transportation arrangements.

Any estimated completion time provided is for guidance only and may change if replacement parts must be imported, replacement stock is unavailable, additional testing is required, or circumstances arise beyond the company's reasonable control.

9. Temporary Replacement Equipment

The company is not obligated to provide temporary or loan equipment while a product is being inspected or repaired unless this service is expressly included in the quotation, service contract, maintenance agreement, or additional warranty package.

Where loan equipment is available, it will be provided subject to stock availability and the company's lending conditions. The replacement equipment may not be the same model or specification as the customer's original product but will be selected to support essential operations where reasonably possible.

10. Data Backup Before Service

Customers are responsible for backing up all data before submitting any device for inspection, repair, replacement, or warranty service. SyncTech Solution, the manufacturer, distributor, and service center shall not be responsible for any loss, corruption, deletion, disclosure, or inability to recover data, programs, settings, licenses, or personal information stored on the device.

As part of the inspection or repair process, a device may be reset, reformatted, have components replaced, or have its operating system reinstalled. Customers should remove confidential information and personal data before submitting the product whenever reasonably possible.

11. Warranty for Hard Drives and Storage Devices

The warranty for Hard Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, NAS devices, storage systems, and other data storage media covers only the physical product according to the manufacturer's warranty conditions. It does not cover any data stored on the device.

The company does not guarantee that lost or damaged data can be recovered. Data recovery services are not included under the product warranty and must be separately evaluated, quoted, and approved as an additional service.

12. Software and Digital Service Warranty

Software licenses, subscriptions, cloud services, Electronic Software Delivery (ESD), product keys, and other digital entitlements are governed by the manufacturer's licensing, support, activation, and usage terms.

Issues caused by incorrect registration information, Tenant ID, domain name, email address, user account, customer configuration, or unsupported environments may not be covered. Once a digital license or subscription has been issued, activated, assigned, or registered, it is generally non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, transferred, or exchanged unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.

13. Installation and Service Warranty

Installation, system configuration, implementation, and technical services are warranted only for the specific scope of work performed by the company and for the warranty period stated in the quotation, contract, service agreement, or project acceptance document.

The service warranty does not cover issues caused by changes made by the customer or third parties, software or firmware updates, changes to manufacturer policies, internet service provider outages, electrical failures, external equipment, or infrastructure that was not included in the company's scope of work.

14. Collection of Serviced Products

Once inspection or repair has been completed, the company will notify the customer to collect the product or arrange return delivery. Customers should collect the product within the period specified in the notification.

If a customer fails to collect the product within the specified period, storage or administrative charges may apply. If the product remains uncollected and the customer cannot be contacted for an extended period, the company reserves the right to proceed in accordance with its applicable terms and relevant laws.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the company's responsibility in relation to warranty products and services is limited to coordinating inspection, repair, replacement of defective parts, or product replacement in accordance with the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms and the relevant sales or service agreement.

The company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses, including loss of revenue, profit, business opportunity, data, productivity, operating time, or losses resulting from the inability to use a product, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

16. Policy Updates

SyncTech Solution reserves the right to amend or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on the company's website shall supersede all previous versions.

If any provision of this policy differs from the terms stated in a quotation, purchase order, contract, warranty certificate, service agreement, or manufacturer's warranty policy, the specific terms applicable to the relevant product or service shall prevail.
