Virtual DSM License
With a Synology Virtual DSM License, you can run Virtual DSM on Virtual Machine Manager and enjoy the full range of features available in the standard DiskStation Manager, including file services and additional applications. Virtual Machine Manager also enables High Availability, ultra-fast snapshots, and protection plans, helping improve system uptime and management flexibility.

License Plan
Each Virtual DSM License Pack adds one Virtual DSM instance to Virtual Machine Manager. One license includes three years of Virtual DSM upgrade entitlement.

Once activated, this License Pack is non-refundable.

Before purchasing this License Pack, please make sure that your Synology NAS is compatible with Virtual Machine Manager. Learn more about the compatible models.

* This License Pack can be used with only one Synology product
* You can use this License Pack to extend upgrade support for an existing Virtual DSM instance
* Each Virtual DSM license provides 3 years of software upgrade entitlement for 1 Virtual DSM package
* You can continue using Virtual DSM after your license expires, but you will no longer receive updates
* You can extend the upgrade period by activating a new Virtual DSM license key

Other Conditions (Agreement)

1. The Company reserves the right to disclaim any liability arising from typographical errors or omissions.
2. The Company reserves the right to change prices and promotions without prior notice.
3. In-stock items will be delivered to the customer within 7 business days.
4. Pre-order items require an estimated delivery time of 30–60 days, depending on the reservation queue and product quota for that batch.
5. For pre-order items, the Company reserves the right not to accept order cancellations or refund deposits under any circumstances, except where the Company is unable to fulfill the order.
6. Pre-order delivery timelines may vary due to force majeure (e.g., international shipping issues or customs delays). The Company will provide periodic updates accordingly.
